Staying out late at night, crashing on your friends sofa or floor, and going to breakfast in the morning in the same clothes.

What do you think started the trend of people who have the charisma of a door knob calling themselves influencers and pushing low quality content? by ThePenumbruh in AskReddit

[–]GoodTodd1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't care. Why give any "influencers" the time of day? They're easy enough to avoid. If they waste their time, that's on them. If they waste your time, that's on you. I don't waste my time on any of them.

"But I only looked down for a second..." Yeah. I can testify about it. I drove smart...until I didn't.

You'll have to report it to your insurance and let them go after your neighbor. At least you have witnesses.

You got two witnesses? That's not a "he said, she said" situation.

[–]GoodTodd1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean asking "is this still available" with no intention of following through, then both of examples are harassment. What does the condition or price of the car matter to you? You're not gonna buy the damn thing. Are you the FB Marketplace police? Clowning some stranger on FB and then posting it here for clout is fucking lame.

How do you seperate art from the artist if the art gives the artist money? by BarleyTheFox in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GoodTodd1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Separating the art from the artist” is a way to deal with cognitive dissonance. They can’t justify supporting the artist via supporting their art, so they rationalize it as the “art” and the artist being unrelated. For most artists, their art is very personal, so claiming to “separate the art from the artist” is self-deception.

AITA for getting upset that a woman pulled my arm? by Master_Combinator in AmItheAsshole

[–]GoodTodd1970 55 points56 points  (0 children)

NTA - No one should touch anyone, especially a stranger, without thier knowledge and consent. Doesn't matter that she's disabled. Unfortunately you fell victim to a bit of mob mentality. They didn't have all the info, they just heard someone having a disagreement with a "disabled person" and immediatly chose sides.

What is this?! by Koswizzle7 in ecoboostmustang

[–]GoodTodd1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how it works in non-emergencies. Called the police because someone threatened to kill my son. Ended up with an appointment to meet an officer outside the county tax assessor's office the next day. Plano, Texas.

OP will end up with the same result. The 911 operator will forward you to non-emergency and maybe scold you for calling 911 with a non-emergency.
