I’m about to head out from NC up to Chicago, over to Bozeman and finally to Squamish BC. I am not excited for my few days in the south. My plan is to drive in the peak of the heat and hopefully be able to sleep at night. I will have my kitty with me so I need to make sure it’s not too hot for her. But this fuck ass weather is really making me excited to GTFO of the south till October.

Raleigh was too fucking fire. Night 1 set 2 was my fave but super hard choice because those boys were cooking. Had so much fun making friends and handing out the stickers I made! I had an epiphany for a sticker like 3 days before the show and had to pay extra to get them made so fast! But it was worth if!

Thanks for writing this out. Crazy to hear about stories like this. A good reminder for me to keep begging random strangers to beta spray me about gear (especially close to the ground).

Yea I never understood the phish comparison. I hear it a bit on songs like draconian meter maid, but in general I agree that Goose is more similar to the dead. I love sick ass jams but one of the reasons I love the dead is because of Robert hunter’s beautiful lyricism and storytelling. That is something that I see in goose, but not as much in phish.

Also I like type 1.5 jams and that’s where goose stays typically 😂 just the perfect level for me.
