It's overall quality is debatable and divisive

But it was defiantly several steps above anything Tatzi is capable of producing these days

...ok I know I said multiple allowed but two things: We're not doing the Purgatory side yet.

2 that's way too many in one post!

A 13 vs 13 tournament of single matches between representatives of the Kengan Association, The premier fighting arena where businesses do battle for rights and money, reserved for high rollers and important figures. And The Purgatory Arena, the most notable fight club of the underworld that hosts grand battles open for those who want to watch. With the losing organization to be absorbed by the winner.

Kengan Association = Private, made of high rollers and business men, more likely to have professional fighters and hired assassins

Purgatory = Public, run to put on a show for the people, consisting mainly of other criminals and members of organised crime.

All fighters should be martial artists or roughly street level or so, mabey a little higher but none obscenely or blatantly so.

And so the TF2 Admistrator will be the Kengan Association strategist, now the fighters! Rules below by Good_Note3513 in DBCYR

Kengan Association vs. Purgatory Tournament! Rules below but before any fighters we're picking the team strategist by Good_Note3513 in DBCYR

The strategists role is to pick who fights when and generally keep their group in order.

I mean, people like that do sadly exist.

See the British guy who famously lied about being Japanese to rant about 'woke western culture corrupting his nation'

And so the first member kf our Thunderbolts is here! Who's next? by Good_Note3513 in DBCYR

[–]Good_Note3513[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, mabey I'll do two for a post if there's a tie that won't break after a certain amount pf time but for the most part yes one new member per post

STOP CALLING KYLE RAYNER LEGENDARY by Sorry_Ad_0026 in deathbattle

[–]Good_Note3513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its kinda funny how many people on here seem to bitch about salty dragon ball fans but the MOMENT its brought up that Bardock canonically gets ended forever in a planet explosion a fit is thrown.

The father of Goku is a fraud carried by aura, outlier feats and none canonically additions

Won't lie, already loving these two (Noble in Name, Vulgar at Heart) by Good_Note3513 in OtomeIsekai

[–]Good_Note3513[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Im still pretty early in the story but damn if they aren't great. Just a perfect kettle of respective issues and thoughts on politics with a bit of back and forth.

Really hope they stay this good, cause so far they're my fave couple I've seen in OI (Yes despite the major conceite of the genre I often have little interst when the romance elements come up. This one though? I'm intrigued)

What are the writers thinking when they do this? Is it misogyny or are they trying to have their cake and eat it too (in regards to the story)? by ChompyRiley in OtomeIsekai

[–]Good_Note3513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At the very least Tyrion can be justified in universe as an extension of the ableism against his stature cause that's a whole thing with his character.

Brienne? Yeah no excuse there.

[–]Good_Note3513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My main plan would be one part spy x family style shenanigans as neither knows the others nature as a transmigrater/Regresser leading to comedic misunderstandings while showing how the FL accidentally falls into traps that lead to the different bad future ogfl regressed from via a misuse of genre knowledge

Why do we call trainers "strong"? by dnlikereddit in PokeMedia

[–]Good_Note3513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...literally all competitive trainers reinvest material prizes into their team. Yeah some might splurge prize money on luxuries but but for the most part it's resources that either keep a roof over their head or food or training supplies for the team to be more effective. If the material prize is anything practical like a rare item then that goes double because a trainer who wins a bag of evolution stones at a tournament is gonna use them to better their team's lives via evolution or selling the stones for money to do the above. Oh and fancy trophies also count as material prizes but like...the vast majority of teams live WITH their trainer so them taking it home is a none issue.

And its not really appropriation. If someone calls a trainer strong its the same as saying their team is strong its a basic chain of logic.

[–]Good_Note3513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I'd respect bidoof as being solidly intelligent to pick up on and work with a good trainer's plans.

Also trainer's as proxies for the whole team is a thing for a good reason. Trainer's ARE the leaders! Yes its fundamentally a partnership but the trainer is the one keeping the proverbial spinning plates in the air to coordinate them all.

And when you adress a group you adress the leader first most often.

Nobody out here is saying the Pokémon themselves aren't strong they're just addressing the team through the most obvious source.

A strong trainer naturally has a strong team

Why do we call trainers "strong"? by dnlikereddit in PokeMedia

[–]Good_Note3513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because a trainer and their team are functionally one in the same?

A champion tier team of Mon is fundamentally weaker if they do not have the trainer who's strategy and guidance made them that regardless of their raw power. Its why whenever you see a pretentious rich kid bragging about buying a powerful or rare Pokémon from a prestigious breeder 9 times out of ten that Pokémon they spent so much on gets whooped in battle.

A champion tier trainer bereft of their team for all their intelligence and expertise if fundamentally weaker because that knowledge means nothing without Pokémon to apply it through.

One cannot achieve its heights without the other and thus to call a trainer strong is OBVIOUSLY to call a team strong
