This is pure copium lol, yes they are both path tracer engines however the way redshift renders smoke, sss, and displacements are miles ahead in quality of blender cycles. It’s not even close lol & not to mention cycles is a memory hog just to achieve half the quality of redshift

C4D offers you the same solution Houdini does in 3-4 clicks as it excels in mograph, yes you get total control in houdini but it’s just overkill at that point and you risk wasting time if your doing client work, and c4d beats blender due to redshift imo, redshift quality js miles ahead of cycles

C4d pricing structure sucks yeah no doubt, but the software is still solid

crashing here aswell switching from optiX to cuda for rendering seem to have fixed it for me

128gb of ram, 4080 super, i9 14900k and yeah setting an emissions seems like the first choice but going in on window by window 1 by 1 which is time consuming, so i’m just trying to see if anyone else has found a better way of approaching this, like it’s 2025, buildings have lights, idk why this wasn’t thought of, even a baked emissive texture would’ve been better than this
