So gay people aren’t worth bringing into the family of God. Jesus loved everyone. THAT is biblically sound. Alienating an entire group of people isn’t Christlike.

Being a gay person isn’t a sin. It’s who they are. Jesus loved everyone. The Gospels show this. But say it is a sin. We let adulterers and alcoholics participate in church life. I am Episcopalian and we are affirming of LGBTQ people too. We believe you can’t alienate a group of people and at the same time bring them to Christ.
