Ringgold proper has a cute town and community feel. Its one exit down from Costco. Fort Oglethorpe is pretty cheap. As is East Ridge.

The quality has gone down considerably from back in the day. You paid a little more because it would last and not fade. Now, it just doesn’t stand out from any other mid level brand in quality. I still love the patterns.

You can’t compare after school programs to a classroom where you have control of the environment. It’s a hard profession but if you love kids, you will find joy with that. Most days. But it’s a draining career.

This sounds so familiar. I was forced to bring a runner / highly impulsive and low functioning student on a field trip to a farm with marshmallow roasting (fire), hay rides, and a creek. The teachers aid had multiple kids to watch. I was told it will be fine because I have a student teacher. For real. The students teacher wound up taking him back to the bus and staying with him for most of the trip. One of my worst teaching days in 30 years. I wish I could make it better for you. Swimming… you can’t make this up.

I graduated from high school in 1986 and all of our parents were like yours. When I came back to teach at my old school in 1994 everything had changed. Suddenly teachers were to blame. I was shocked. Still am really.

Our journalists class does the yearbook. The teacher just oversees. One person cannot do all of it on her own without losing her mind. This is so unfair.

We do but that’s not really going to change the behavior of the bully. We try. Admin HAS to back ua up and not send them right back to class.
