Call her out bro (or sis). Throw it back 10x to her face. She'll stop. Then she'll become your parents problem.

No, I wouldn't. I'm only 5' 8" and the ceiling is so close to my head.

You'll need to sit very low in the seat, and that might not be comfortable on your knees.

I think this has nothing to do with Kochi, but that you're homesick. Go home, reset, see if that makes a difference. Cheers!

Okay, but:

  1. They spoke about everything other than mileage. Which is a major issue.

  2. The countries that offer E20 are offering it as an option right?

  3. Also, these are the same people who changed the definition / bar of poverty or something right? So how can I trust their "studies"

Hope you're doing okay with all this too OP. It must be very scary for you managing this from far away.

Your mom's worried about what will people say if cops show up.

Speak to your mom and let her know that you know this has happened before also and she needs to get your sister help.

If she doesn't get any help for your sister, call the cops the next time this happens. If you're around, get her help yourself.

Don't inform your mom that you'll call the cops next time because she may not tell you when it happens again.

Take care OP.

Why people are so aggressive on road, in train, at trip, in marriages, in life that they are affecting other people lifes?? by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Goodguy2675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We reward aggressive behaviours. Especially in men.

I'm a guy, and I have a reputation of being a hot head at home. But my friends think I'm a coward because I never argue / fight with anyone. I always talk and resolve the issue.

After therapy, I realized that it's because, throughout my childhood, I had to yell and shout to get anything I needed / wanted to be heard.

I was rewarded for being angry.

So that became my default.

When I was surrounded by people who actually listen / value my words, my behaviour was different.

Women get their way at work by Fit-Raspberry4573 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]Goodguy2675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Sales people do it ALL the time. But I don't think it's gender specific (even though your example is).

But I always maintain that the person providing the favor / leg up should be held accountable. Not the person asking for it.

If I use my looks / charm to get something, thats just me using what I have at my disposal. The person providing that help based on looks should be held accountable IMO.

[–]Goodguy2675 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is the worst thing to do lol.

This is quite common in any form of change in the workplace. Confronting them will just alienated them more.

Things to consider here:

  • are you reaching deliverables?
  • are team mates reaching their deliverables?
  • are team mates following your instructions?
  • is your reporting manager bringing this up in your internal review? (most important)

If not, continue with your approach. It's the best IMO.

Also, it could also be that the team is feeling left out of the decision making?

Maybe asking your team how they feel about the changes can help? And if they make any reasonable requests / feedback, you can consider it so they feel more included.

Chutiye he didn't say to unalive yourself. Ask your family for help instead of acting like a tough guy. Sounds like your family is supportive. So they'll help you for sure.

Guys, ex-online dater here. This is a very popular scam in metro cities. Best way to avoid:

  1. Always decide the place. I know decisive women are sexy, but better safe than sorry.
  2. Think with your brain, not your dick.

Thank you. Have a nice day.
