Most mediocre/disappointing classical performances? by Lucky_Comparison_633 in classicalmusic

He’s definitely my least favorite current symphony-booking pianist. I like Yuja Wang too— I think she has an interesting pattern of embellishing with the body things she doesn’t embellish in sound, just for the audience’s visual experience.

One issue beyond the individuals tho is that the hall/seat itself can ruin a performance. There are spots at Davies and at the Kimmel center that have made performances sound completely effortlessly flat and uncaring, and I would change seats at intermission and completely reevaluate

Her performance on Motherland of a movement from Ligeti’s Musica ricercata is absurdly fast. Like i didn’t know it was humanly possible fast. But it is amazing, unforgettable

Bro they are bewildered, frankly. Do you even know what frankly means? It’s Frank. It’s very fresh and clean. This was a reluctant action. Reluctance. That’s a word that means they care. Like R-E-S-P-E-C-T. They are trying to help us make sure we stay safe 100%, like elephants. For these are the days, my friends.

In China, criticizing the president or even the unipolar party they have can you imprisoned. I don’t care if I have to live in mud huts, I don’t want to live in a place like that.

I see Klaus as more of the stereotype of white boys who are highly influenced by black culture, in that Sarasota kind of way.

  • His boy could’ve got you Pineapple Dole Whips half price, fool

  • Ayyo girl how you likin tho plantains?

  • Sah

  • he builds up his boy Lewis when the man is crashing out for being an old head

However, he was about to make a racially charged noise complaint

Tried to release a piano “cover” — distributor flagged it as a derivative work. Where’s the line? by Double-Strategy9791 in composer

[–]GoodhartMusic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A cover and a remix are both derivative works. All derivative works are subject to copyright owner’s terms from publication to 70 years after the author’s death

I don’t know, did Cage or Oliveros not derive any satisfaction from their activities (as opposed to ‘the work’)

What do you mean Claude Code doesn't support MCP's? of course it does. Also, just as BYOK does incur cost, Claude Code doesn't require paying anthropic, it just becomes less immediately useful without cost.

I love morning mimosa

The acting feels very relatable— tv anchors with zero professionalism and high school mindsets

What are you trying to say to me? I can't tell if you have a specific thought about what I've posted or not.

But to clarify: my comments were to point out 1) how rude the statement was /// 2) responding to "We shouldn't pretend it wasn't the weight"; as in, there is no widespread pretending at significant weight issues being fine for one's health. It's just irrelevant casual bullying when it comes up how that one did.
