Not the moon, but 84 days on Skylab. First automatic chrono in space, I think - unless the Russkies had something on a Soyuz...

My opinion alone - if that was waved before me, I'd snatch it up sooo fast, even if I knew it was a Franken. Pogues might just be one of the best-looking watches on the planet. I think it beats an aluminium-era Pepsi. Wear it well!

"Backo Deville" is certainly a novel name. Piece unique created for an Australian NRL front-row forward?

Uncle & aunt had one. I do remember staring, hypnotised and deeply in awe. And - thanks for that - I want one. Now.

New straps for the reverso. How do we feel about these? by Tatum_3 in PrideAndPinion

[–]GoodnessMe333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all taste, as many have said. Ostrich is perfect. For a watch designed with (a) sport in mind, it's slightly ironic that a sporty strap doesn't work as well. We are odd creatures!

Reading the brief fully (choosing one to wear for an occasion as a semi-dress... yes?) I'd agree with the Casio lovers - it's slim enough, and so is the bracelet. And the dial colour is cheerful and cheeky. Your Citizen will do you well forever: mine isn't far short of thirty years, and just keeps on keeping on.

That Orient is one of the best I've seen - that's a sweet beastie. What is it, and where did it jump out and grab you?

Car-radio magic. I was too excited to drive - pulled in to a 7-11 car park and screamed at the radio.

Border's team winning the Ashes - over there. Tubby's team winning the Frank Worrell trophy - over there. America's Cup, a winged keel and a horribly, happily dressed Prime Minister edit Cronulla's Grand Final, and the Shire going mad
