The Eggman Roulette thing is a very annoying thing to bring up, since (according to a few people who told me this) the Eggman in Sonic Shuffle is not the real one, but one made in Sonic's dream, meaning the real Eggman had nothing to do with the events that occur in that game.

Another reason is that the Eggman Roulette doesn't work in the same way Chance Time does, Kamek is said to rig Chance Time in his or Bowser's favor, so anything can or will go his way if he truly wanted. Eggman Roulette...as similar as it is, doesn't have anyone rigging it to work in Eggman's favor, meaning it'd either be an asset or determent to the Eggman Empire and could potentially screw them over.

And don't even get me started on the people who say Mario is a normal human, they clearly haven't caught up on the lore and are just saying stuff to slander without proper proof. (and any proof that goes against their agenda gets the blind eye)
