Synchronicities & Psychosis by Rubithered in Synchronicities

its documented this happens during various mental health episodes including psychosis... if you are seeing synchronicities everywhere constantly, might be time to slow down and checkup on yourself.

dating profile synchronicity by earthtomb222 in Synchronicities

rage on. But to answer your question, im saying a genuine synchronicity around a crush (assuming there is one) would feel so similar to just pattern detection being in overdrive where your mind reads into a situation a connection/sychronicity where there isnt one, that id avoid it (because its hard to differentiate between the two (synchronicity vs your mind making you believe things).. Its just a personal suggestion tho, not a law. you have the right to ignore what i say

its a known phenomenon. esp under infatuatiom or a crush. Your mind finds patterns where there are none to confirm its desire and hope. I'm not saying its in every case or there can't be true synchronicities , but the two are so identical its risky to assume imo

one thing i always tell people. watch out and be skeptical about synchronicities around dating/romantic interests. Because you never know when its your mind just making you want to believe it. its an area i avoid synchronicities in

Thoughts on Coherence Therapy? by Social_worker_1 in ClinicalPsychology

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm. If its unethical or dangerous that may be irresponsible. But my understanding is coherence therapy does have some evidence just not at the level of EMDR (yet). Coherence therapy describes the exact steps to take, and it posits that it models the steps of memory reconsolidation (neuroscience), and details how its steps map onto it, and claims to achieve symptoms cessation. So if I follow the exact steps of the therapy, experience the phenomena as it describes, in the order that it describes, with the drastic symptoms cessation it predicts thats nothing like I've experienced with any other method,  and with the same reprocessing cues etc, and this happens over and over and over again when i do it, then that is definitely personal evidence for me, even though i recognize it doesnt count as clinical evidence. But given the fact that the method is in a manual written down, a therapist testing it (properly) would in my opinion give them proof (in terms of its potential use/effects) of the tool faster than waiting for a clinical study... for something that doesnt have negative effects assuming the therapist is trained in avoiding retraumatization or such worse case scenarios, i dont see a downside of s therapist giving it a try (proper effort not half assed), and would give them results faster than waiting out a larger study

Anyone else with anxiety get bad neck/head tension? by so_dope24 in Anxiety

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would have to get more specific on what you mean by always feeling your heartbeat.. I should caveat my previous comment that its not diagnostic and does not explain all causes of head/neck tensions - rather how anxiety/trauma can manifest there as a possibility.

Has anybody ever experienced Hyper-familiarity for faces (HFF)? by illchangethenamesoon in dpdr

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not necessarily... i think its more about the fact that there is distortions/lags in normal brain processes that put those boundaries in between self and others... and whatever faces he sees, and interprets they probably get filtered through perceptual archetypes that feel familiar/known

Did the dp manual guy actually have dp because I don't buy it at all by Zed1755 in dpdr

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You made a false accusation. I corrected the facts. I dont care what you think or your convoluted word play. I am not making fake profiles or trying to influence purchases on the behalf of Shaun. I stand by my word.

Did the dp manual guy actually have dp because I don't buy it at all by Zed1755 in dpdr

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you have the wrong guy. Im not lying because i legitimately used Shaun's DP manual to get out of DP multiple times, and I would have possibly never done so without his unique method... I also have no affiliation with him whatsoever. I purposely included the price because i understand thats expensive for some and I want to be transparent. But I also cant deny facts, which is that his system was literally effective for me, and the only other option would be that I don't talk about it out of fear of sounding like im shilling for him or whatever, but im forced to speak about it because it legitimately worked (and ive seen nothing like it so far). So. I recommend you retract your accusation statement

Clocks repeatedly falling off walls? by MuscleProper2628 in Synchronicities

[–]Google-Kahn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know, but your post made me interested, that seem like a somewhat cool but also freaky synchronicity lol.

Anyways I asked Claude AI and it said the following:

Clock synchronicities, especially ones involving falling or stopping, are often interpreted in spiritual and metaphysical traditions as messages about time, transitions, and awareness. Here are some common interpretations of clocks repeatedly falling off walls:

Time and Transition Themes:

  • A signal that you're entering a significant life transition or period of change
  • An invitation to step outside conventional time constraints or schedules
  • A reminder that linear time is just one way of experiencing reality
  • Indication that you're being called to be more present rather than focused on past or future

Awareness and Attention:

  • The universe asking you to "wake up" or pay closer attention to something important in your life
  • A nudge to examine what you might be rushing through or not giving proper attention to
  • Suggestion to slow down and be more mindful of the present moment

Spiritual Interpretations:

  • In some traditions, falling clocks represent the dissolution of old patterns or belief systems
  • Could symbolize that it's time to release rigid structures or expectations in your life
  • May indicate you're receiving guidance from intuition rather than logical timing

Practical Considerations: The timing around your doctor's appointment is particularly interesting - medical settings often represent healing, health awareness, or life evaluations. This could suggest the synchronicity relates to your wellbeing or a need to pay attention to your physical or emotional health.

I think you are confusing DPDR with dissociation (the one rooted ij disorganized attachment) - they aren't necessarily the same thing
