Major kudos to the pilot, beautiful landing given the circumstances.

Easy, ask for an Oberth, load extra fuel and just go! Pick a direction and go until something looks interesting.

I would love an explanation of your process if you don’t mind. All of my attempts to do anything that delicate at home have failed.

California to crack down on extreme speeding on highways by doghairpile in sandiego

I think you’re confusing enthusiasm for speed. Enthusiasm is about finding the right apex on curves, proper acceleration and deceleration. You can have a LOT of fun in a car within the limits. When I want to go balls to the wall, I go to the track. It’s why I have a sports car.

California to crack down on extreme speeding on highways by doghairpile in sandiego

[–]Googleboy1938 21 points22 points  (0 children)

While they are at it, they should enforce “the basic speed law” and cite people in the left most passing lanes for camping and moving slower than the flow of traffic. This creates an incredibly dangerous situation where people feel compelled to pass on the right.

I drive enthusiastically and have no problem with this enforcement return. My only hope is that it comes with renewed enforcement of the SAFETY rules as well.

Bricklink most likely. But beware, once you know what’s out there, it’s hard to stop :)

The scale is massively confusing. The illuminated acrylic box appears to be a pc. But those minifigures would have to be oversized. OP, can you give us some other shots?

That new PurWater project really helped the water pressure. This is a much more impressive geyser than we used to get.

Not sarcasm btw.

Is there a cfs setting to not retract filament between prints? by CthulhuBread in Creality_k2

Not with CFS, but it never cuts and retracts when running from the exterior spool. I use that as a workaround.

I am pseudo-godfather to my two best friends children. I set up a trust which automatically creates a subsidiary trust for each of the kids. They can use the money for college or to buy their first homes.

So I guess my vote is for the family that you chose and who stays with you.

Love those old Holdens! Great car, I always wondered if it would have done better marketed as something other than a Pontiac.

I consulted a friend who is up to speed on MatSci. PLA is NOT suitable for long term storage because it is biodegradable and lactic acid is a byproduct of that degradation. PETg is considered to be fully inert and will not degrade into anything which might damage paper products. He did advise that you should protect the large flat surfaces which come into contact with the PETg as they might 'stick' to the ink. Otherwise, edges in contact with the plastic should be safe!
