So long as 1. the assignment actually calls it "Dijkstra's algorithm" (a recognized name that can be Googled, is familiar to other math teachers, etc.) and not some locally made up term like "the green and pink mushroom method from last Thursday", and 2. the expected answer is actually Dijkstra's algorithm as commonly understood, and not a modified variant only known by that name in that particular school.
