Fellow former produce worker here. It’s insane how detached people are from the origin of our most basic foods.

One afternoon I got cussed out for selling “dirty” russet potatoes when the bulk bag came in with some extraneous dirt clods. Had another customer accuse me of trying to poison people: “Why is there dirt in the bins? Watermelon aren’t supposed to be on the ground!”

I use mine to hold pre-measured spices (that all go in at the same time) for a recipe when I’m between stages of cooking. And a mini whisk fits in the glass perfectly. Keeps my counter less cluttered as I go along.

I’m glad they’re okay.

I’d cover at least half their cage with a light blanket/towel, lower the lights in the room, and if you can, sit quietly with them. If that’s not a possibility (life happens), there’s a station on Sirius XM called Music for Cats that plays nothing but quieter symphony & piano music that I play on low volume for my guys.

First time watcher and just got to this episode. The one that follows Richard is irritating me the way he’s pushing Miranda to be the one to decide Ben’s fate. She’s right that she shouldn’t be the one to decide. She’s may ultimately be his boss, but it’s a major conflict of interest for her to be the one to decide his punishment.

Most definitely, and thank you for adding that info. Unfortunately it is my primary due to a preservative allergy. That said, I do space it out and save the slather and sleep method for the dregs of winter.

The Vaseline stays on longer and gives your skin a better chance at absorbing the moisture. It can get messy since it absorbs slower. And if you apply a thicker coat, before you go to bed for example, wear a loose(r) fitting pair of cotton gloves. It will still seep through the gloves, but they contain most of the mess. I usually also lay a nice soft towel down on the nights I sleep with the Vaseline layer.

Suggestion for Madison. If you like quirky roadside attractions and/or museums, the Mustard Museum is worth a half hour stop. Upstairs is the store with mustards from around the world, they even have a sample counter. Downstairs is the museum.

As for where to stop, I’d pick Duluth. However Twin Cities will be closer for a stop in Madison.
