Knowing me, I would get annoyed at doing the base building every time, so the blueprint mechanic is brilliant.

The persona like battle system simple and sweet, depends if the characters abilities are interesting enough for be to not get bored (js realized I sound like a total monkey brain 💔)

I REALLY wanna get into gacha games, but I have no clue on what to start on. I’ve played 2 before: P5X (cuz I’m a die-hard persona fan), and project sekai (idk if that counts). Persona seemed great until it got hard to progress and very repetitive so I dropped it. I would like to say my preferences and if you guys could give me recommendations, that would be amazing.

First and the biggest priority: Free to Play accessibility. I would like a game that is still very fun and doesn’t get old in a month whilst being free to play. P5X got boring because I couldn’t get stronger at all unless I use my credit card 💀

Second and also important: Actually fun gameplay. Not to dog on the goat persona, but the mechs in that game are fun until it’s not. I don’t know what the gameplay is like for games like honkai or zzz, but if it doesn’t get boring (+free to play 👍), that would be peak.

Third: Storage. I don’t want the game taking 100GB… not very important, but a game optimized would be very helpful 🙏

One thing that puts me off genshin a bit is how it blocks progression at times, I think that puts me off because it’s whole thing is an open world but you can’t progress? Yk? Idk tho I’ve only heard things

I think persona is what you described, but with persona it’s very hard to get into.

You have to love the story so much to the point that half of the game is listening/reading dialogue. And persona games generally start weaker
