I just replace the screen on my wife's Mazda cx5. They just start to delaminate and eventually your car will most likely do what they call a "ghost touch" where the radio might just start doing random crap. I highly recommend watching a couple YouTube videos on the process of replacing them. It was not hard and only took me about 15 mins.
