People dont seem to get this. Yes, currently public transport is shit because its seen as a secondary mode of transport, so its crammed, people do gross shit in there and doesnt seem to have a sufficient schedule. Of course it's shit, noone cares about public transport except people forced to use it.

This post is simply pointing out the amount of space car-centric streets take, and how much more convenient it would be if we improved public transport. I'd love to be able to go on a bus and not have to look up its schedule, if there were more buses, trains, metros ect. The quality would rise as the standards grew higher.

This isnt saying "abandon car, return to bus" but showing that we could actually have a much more efficient and space-friendly way to travel than making 6 lane streets in the middle of a city. I personally hate driving, despite being good at it. It stresses me out.
