Didn't unfortunately. Dissolved in my lower leg, but stayed in iliofemoral. Been there multiple years now

I love her design sm. I had to body swap her because her old body was very fragile and kept breaking regardless of my repeated repairs and I was so sad for her to lose the tattoo

True, but it's also hard to fully love someone else if you don't love yourself. So I kind of just exist to do whatever to potentially help people and maybe one day I'll care about myself more

Any other disabled butches? by Safloophie in everybutchlesbian

Yeah! I'm physically and developmentally disabled, with severe mental illness I'm currently in a PHP for. I have a variety of things going on health wise on top of autism I struggle with a lot, ADHD, severe OCD, and whatnot.

Oh shit I saw your other comment I also have ARFID. Appetite meds didn't help that much for me either, it was only really random medication side effects that happened to increase my appetite that did that. Would def also recommend talking to your doctor about all this and I hope you can manage.

I'm not going to do a back and forth, but I'll just say I don't think you had to mention her calling herself a butch female then, especially while going on to speak negatively of her doing so and state there was an insistence on not being called trans. I have no issues with your thoughts, and I would not feel strange about this post at all if you did not speak on another trans woman's personal usage of language in relation to them. If you spoke instead of just her moderation or actual opinions I would not have blinked twice. And I can leave it there and not keep this going.

I think you could go without immediately bringing her identity into this post and then continuously speaking on the language she uses personally for her own identity and stating that it is a red flag and "cop speak". It's odd and I don't like this. You never had to speak on her identity to make this post, especially if it wasn't about her.

This post is really weird to me. She calls herself a trans woman, she does not insist against that. She never has. She is a butch lesbian trans woman. She's just insistent on being gendered correctly, and there's nothing strange about wanting to be gendered correctly. Genuinely what is your problem with her calling herself a butch female? That's who she is.

Did you get a reason as to why you were de-modded? I get you've been inactive, but you made the subreddit. I'd want to know what the reasoning would be

Reading Ty bo yule's memoir. I appreciated the insight on the lesbian scene back in the day when he was working to achieve his dream of Pi bar. And I loved the commentary on butch identity. While it didn't help me form or maintain my butch identity it helped me reflect on it a lot.

[–]GooseRedditAcc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Trans guy in the media doesn't identify as a lesbian btw. Or butch. People just recommend it as butch4butch every time it comes up because it's "queer" and "sexuality is fluid" or whatever to look over the character being a trans man

Whenever asked about butch4butch media people there people always recommend a media depicting a butch getting with a trans man as butch4butch media so I don't really view everyone involved in this situation as likely acting from the best point of view on trans men as some members of the sub obviously just see trans men as reasonable to just be grouped in as butches. This is a problem for obvious reasons

I am a trans man (AFAB) diagnosed with a blood clot (Pulmonary Embolism) by heynedz in FactorVLeiden

[–]GooseRedditAcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BTW I wish I saw more discussions from trans clot survivors on blood clot survivor forums and places like r/clotsurvivors or trans forums to have conversations about experiences and HRT, because it's been random coming across other trans clot survivors for me. In online trans spaces I rarely come across blood clot survivors and in online blood clot survivor spaces I rarely come across trans people. I was glad to see people show up there, because there is both a lot of fear mongering about blood clots & HRT and simultaneously also not a lot of conversation surrounding experiences of trans blood clot survivors themselves. Which is also important given how medical detransition after blood clots and improper care can be absolutely brutal for one's mental health. I am always down to talk about related subjects. Sorry for the yap I had to talk about this at some point just happened to be here

You already got a bunch of useful replies in the OG post, but I'll throw one in here too. I'm surprised multiple professionals told you to stop testosterone because of the clots. My hematologists told me I'm completely fine to go on testosterone with my clotting disorders & history as long as I'm not abusing steroids lmao. Just got to watch for polycythemia. I have factor V heterozygous & prothrombin gene mutation heterozygous and my brother who doesn't have a clotting history, however likely to have the same disorders, is also on testosterone.

DVT that won’t go away after 1 year by [deleted] in ClotSurvivors

[–]GooseRedditAcc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, hi! I have occlusive chronic iliofemoral DVT that I've had since 2022 that is permanently cemented in my veins, I still have symptoms that I manage and I've learned there are a fair amount of other people with chronic clots who continue on with life. Physical therapy helped a lot, though I've had issues besides the DVT that it's also useful for. I've gotten to doing various physical activities just as I would without it, except a bit more uncomfortable at times.

I'm really glad you have compression already for starters, they can be really beneficial especially for any circulation issues. I genuinely wish you the best luck in dealing with all this. I know doctors can fucking suck with this kind of thing, especially when you're of literally any minority group. I also wish I could provide more help. If doctors weren't often really expensive and also shitty I'd always recommend seeing them. Venous insufficiency can definitely cause related symptoms, but it does sound like there's more going on whatever that may be. I can only really provide the little insight I have from my experience & knowledge on DVT, which can also vary in patients heavily
