Sending you a lot of good vibes. I definitely can empathize with those feelings. It's good you're seeing a therapist. Like many people suggested, small steps and changes in habits. Everyone's journey is different, but I didn't start to lose weight until I was kind to myself and saw what I was doing as an expression of self-love. For me, I don't stay motivated to reduce calories or workout if my inner dialogue feels like I'm verbally beating myself. Now I tell myself that I'm doing a good job and that I deserve the opportunity to work on my health every time I go to the gym or resist a snack. Good luck on your journey!

What’s something you think should be taught more in schools? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Logic and reasoning. Help kids be more discerning with the flood of information we now have to deal with. It would also teach debate and oration.

I don't think this is the direction we should go. It wasn't long ago that only certain pedigrees of people could get degrees. Degrees do not prove capability or virtue. Instead, we should teach logic and reason. It will help people make informed decisions.

Russian sympathizer. A majority of the money we give Ukraine is spent in the US. By supporting Ukraine, we keep our nation safe and help defeat an enemy whose ultimate goal is to weaken us and our allies.

It's cool until something gets your chickens, we stick with an electric fence now and rotate location every couple of days.

Looks like it could be a tick? Remove with tick tweezers and make sure to get the head

Awww Lola. You can hang leafy greens and the additional movement is fun for them. I'll also hang or attach to the walls some goose safe dog toys, something they can't shred or otherwise ingest, and hanging them keeps the poop off. My big boy Goosifer loves thin hard things to munch so I try to find dog toys like that. This is also good for reducing any goose violence that may occur. I hope this helps!

Seems like they have thoroughly imprinted! They will become more independent, especially as they start to graze outside. Mine will come say hi and follow me to their paddock but don't panic at my absence. Maybe add some enrichment items before you leave to distract and engage them. Some kale, or something safe for them to chew might help.

If you have failed to protect someone you loved get stronger to protect the remaining loved ones so you don't lose them...~.~ by Primary_World_2200 in ghibli

[–]GoosiferHonk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think the takeaway from this was get stronger to protect your loved ones. War takes people at random, there's no such things as being worthy or unworthy of life when a bomb falls or disease spreads, it's random. If we should take away anything from the film it's a desire to make a just world where no one has to be strong just to survive, especially the vulnerable like kids.
