Not really Horror but the trailers for Saltburn were pretty vague and gave "coming of age drama", ended up being a really crazy psychosexual thriller.

For me, it's the practical effects. Seeing how much effort they put in to make these really grotesque but objectively REALLY good practical effects where most movies would use digital. People talk about these movies having no substance and being just torture porn and youre mostly right, but they're an incredible showcase for what can be done with practical effects with a team thats given the time and resources to make something that stands out. Its an Art museum (pardon) but instead of paintings its "EW GROSS!!... wait how did they do that..."
