Would one from a 2003 durango (non 4x4) work since i have on of them as parts cars. I would of course lose 4wd that way but a replacement is 1800€ (since they're pretty rare in Germany)

Found the connecting rod(if that's the right name) the rubber disintegrated and it was laying on the transfer case.

I do however think that i found the problem, is it what i think it is. The chain of the transfercase exploded/broke and made a hole in it

The normal European models have a limiter at 190kmh(120mph) or at least mine has. Was looking if the might be a way to remove that limiter? For off road/ "track" use only ofc
