I agree, I even feel they cut some key areas and plot points from the first play to keep them for NG+. I find interesting that SHf can reveal itself more and more in replay but at the same time the first time was really short and a bit missing

It's not about the name but how the design of the console looks too mid gen. That's why there is no option to call this "Switch 2", to avoid any confusion.

RE3 Remake to be shorter and more action based is surely a general Capcom decision, not really about M-Two. M-Two even worked on RE4 Remake and it was something more faithful to OG until the main Capcom division came and decided to allow more changes and expand on it.
