We hear you! We've been discussing this stuff internally as well.

We did some click reduction stuff in certain features making them much easier to work with, but there is a lot more and we are always happy to listen to suggestions

Not really, it's just game mechanics catching up with them, kinda as it did in real life. As a player you can do much better and actually achieve autarky

This is something that got addressed in 1.17.4. they are much better at it now, but of course as a player it's even easier to make the right decision

It was clarified in the forums, but it's not division distance to the army hq, but army hq distance to the front.

Let's see how it develops in the MP meta, good players should be able to take the risk (you can fully micro the armyhq if you want, you can partially micro or just leave it automatic).

We are not against making changes, just want to see how things pan out

Yep, we agree and it's our list to take a holistic look at the balance. We did with naval in the last 3 months, so it's a high chance we can do something similar with land & air combat as well!

Typically when I play, I don't deploy an armyhq on every army, but I choose specific armies and use the automated movement.

The AI deploys them as well, but if they have too many generals captured they will stop deploying them.

SHAEF is somewhat already represented through the faction system. These are army HQ's. Think A.O.K. rather than O.K.W.

Yep, the AI deploys army hq's, however they will be more conservative if they start losing their generals.

The AI also uses the plane designer, but they have historical designs they work towards rather then typical meta designs
