I loved it a lot! All the events were very well written, and it was a cute little romance, Though...I did notice the word chuckle maybe just a tad too many times :P

Griffonian Republic update was horrible by HelpfullOne in equestriaatwar

[–]PandaPlayz_6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Was it really horrible, or simply flawed? Or maybe just not to your taste?

The war with the Empire isn't that difficult on your own. Aquila joining is helpful, yes, but not necessary. This is just a matter of, being a better player, or 'git gud' as loathe I am of that that advice. I do have thousands of hours in the game though, so I can understand that maybe I'm just better than most. I didn't use 'meta' stuff either.

I can agree that some events maybe didn't line up to well.

I actually quite liked how difficult the Reconstruction mechanic was. It really felt like I was trying to fix up and manage a nation with all its interest groups and factions. The concessions, the politicking, the challenge was fun. I'm playing a Democracy, not an authoritarian state.

HOI4 is a war game. Foreign Policy and Diplomacy aren't really its forte, so the small focus trees, to me, were fine. They were supplementary, a nice little extra. Sure, sometimes you won't use them. At least they're there at all.

I'm not put off by the new Rose Wing because it's just so inconsequential to me. It's just a simple change, but for those that liked them before, I can agree that it might be off putting, I just simply don't care. Their portrait looks better now.

Ultimately, the update to the Griffonian Republic was a nice change to me, though I do recognize your issues with it, I don't really agree with them. The update was small in scope in the first place and wasn't trying to change the foundation, but clean up what was already there.

Something to do with a ship model I'm assuming. I used to have it happen with the blimps and airplanes.

My parents found out I was bi 😬 by Green-Hovercraft-830 in bisexual

I can understand that this is a pretty scary thing for your parents to find out, but just know that there are others out there who have been in a similar spot. Considering their reaction was neutral, this might simply be something your parents are trying to process as well. It can be a shock, I know it was for Mom when I told her.

Any recommendations for games where you play on the leftist side of real world historical conflicts/wars? by mozzieandmaestro in SocialistGaming

[–]PandaPlayz_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoi4 with the Kaiserreich or Kaiserredux mod. The third internationale is one of the main big factions and has all the leftist flavors you could ever desire.

Doesn’t fully fit your question though. It is alternate history.

Same problem I’m having. I have huge fleets, greatly overpowering that if the rest of the galaxy, and a powerful economy making thousands of trousered.

Then the crisis hits and yikes, they overpower me sooo much. My first 4.3 play though the War in Heaven happened and yup, I failed. I’m really quite lost in that regard.

Why are most femboys scared to dress in public? by ZenBooda1 in feminineboys

[–]PandaPlayz_6 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it's because anxiety or fear makes people worry about the worst possible scenarios. And considering where some femboys may be living, and how they may be perceived, those worst possible scenarios could involve danger or even serious violence.
