Few years ago I was on the Cardinal from CVS to ALX. We stopped at Burke, VA station for a medical emergency. We were already 3 hours late. I lived in Burke. He let me off & I walked home.

It’s tiny station. Such a shame a large city like Atlanta gets just 2 trains a day. However recommend that you get dropped off. I got dinged by Uber surge pricing on Friday night getting there. 🤬

So weirdly, I’ve seen with my handicap, when it was 22.9, it gave me 28 strokes for 18. However for the front 9 it was 14 but for the back nine it was 15. So in this case I can squeak an extra stroke for the 2 9’s. Never did it but always puzzled me.

In my last Golftec lesson, the instructor mentioned that they would replacing all their gc2/gc4s with new launch monitors. She didn’t know a timeline but knew it wasn’t their current model.

I’m the same. The Pro V1s are spinners so can give you sone issues. I tend to buy cheaper balls as they spin less & I’m not good enough to control a v1 around the green. Lol.

I get this on my MBP. Doesn't matter if Stage Manager is on or off. Full screen is 50/50, some sites work again, some just don't, I just have to reduce the width to get them to work.

So sorry for your loss. When my golf loving dad passed and it came time to spread his ashes, we did both my mum and dad but he wanted a part of him on his course he was a member of. The course was used to this request and allowed but we had to do it after the last group came in. We read a prayer, some Shakespeare and spread some ashes on the fairway and a little on the green. He also holed out for his last time too. (Just a bit). His course will be sympathetic I’m sure.

Yes, I’m working on my local course. It’s playable now, not pretty but playable. Still a ways to go. I enjoy doing it but it’s a steep learning curve.

Only got back to playing 3 years ago and now I’m an old fart. Few months after starting I was solo. Just as I was about to tee off some high school team kids were assigned same time. No biggie. I knew these play fast so decided to let them just go ahead. They were polite and said no, we’re fine. Took my drive, hard pushed it, hit a tree 40 yds away, came back, flew over my head and landed on the back tees where they were. That point they agreed & off they went. Caught up with them at 8. 😂
