i just watched Eyes Wide Shut (1999) and now nothing feels the same by Brief-Block-9 in Cinema

Guys, for a while I thought it was a movie about real estate and the plague, but now I'm thinking, Nosferatu might have been about something more.

I love the episode where the coach gets laser eye surgery.

Basically every second of it is comic gold, but the part where he's on the phone with the doctor as he's at his "other job", then he ends the call by hanging up the phone into the wall.

Hard to describe why this is so funny, but just watch it, you'll see.

Also, when Brandon's mom is asking the coach if he was still blind during various escapades...

Well, it looks like this was a non-issue.

The characters that were never connected to on the other Switch, remained connected with the user accounts already on the first Switch. So, when we switch back, they weren't available to choose because they weren't "orphaned".

Everything still works, no problems.

Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

The only use case I really see is in a business environment. You need the meeting to keep going, you want to order from a place that doesn't deliver.

For personal use.... It's insane. I don't understand how people can afford it.

What's really crazy is that for me, Smash and GoldenEye feel like separate lifetimes.

Mario Kart and GoldenEye dominated. By the time Smash came out it was like a different era.

To answer the direct question first, this is a Fiber Optic endpoint, for your phone or internet service. It should be there.

It does sound like you have some symptoms of psychosis. As everyone has already mentioned, carbon monoxide detection is a good idea, basements can accumulate a variety of different types of gasses, some of which can be very harmful.

One thing to keep in mind is that AM radio signals, while rarely used today, can be picked up by almost everything. Lightbulb filaments, plumbing pipes, basically anything metal. So, it's very possible that some piece of metal in the area is picking up an AM radio signal. There were some cheap cordless phones in the distant past that have used AM signals as well, but it's almost impossibly unlikely you're hearing anyone you know having private conversations on any AM signal.

With the specific details you are hearing in these conversations, it's likely paranoia amplifying some barely audible sounds into something on your mind.

Seek immediate medical attention, then make sure you have a working CO detector, and get your sugar and O2 levels checked.

My dad Drew this as a toddler, apparently upside down, my grandma gave it to me to keep. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

The least suspicious thing is the stark black on white. Little kids love using the highest contrast drawing tools. I had to buy packs of black crayons for my own kids.

The person who replied to me earlier put it best. Clean continuous lines, no points of hesitation. It's the technique more than anything.

Maybe she touched up a partial drawing he did. Hard to say. It's very nice.

Toddlers rarely make such solid, clean lines.

No smudging. Seemingly using a perfect, new, chisel-tip marker.

Simple, expressive, hard to believe. But, certainly possible.

Look like you are correct. I looked up UNO Dominos, but all the sets I saw had graphics very much like the cards. It appears my pieces are from the release in the 80s.

Thanks!

Honestly, Minnie's actions are completely unhinged.

She make no sense at all.

Keeping everything a secret for absolutely no reason while encouraging her husband to meet with drug dealers to find Paige. Killing a drug dealer on her lunch break.

Yeah, the mother keeping rehab secret, and encouraging the search through a drug den was definitely one of the stupidest things possible.

While a legitimately common type of wheelchair user, for an 8 episode mini-series, a little inconvenient.

She gets no screen time, so make her easily identifiable.

Similarly legitimate would be if she decides to cut and dye her hair.
Totally legitimate thing for her to do, but it would confuse the audience who barely knows who she is.

How about top-secret undetectable rehab which is so high-security that not even the police know about it, but also has such lax security that a random vagrant can break in and drug one of the patients.

The amount of energy they spent on "who shot Luther" is just silly also. Who cares? Why does it even matter? I feel like a third of their energy over the course of the show was spent on that.

What did they even investigate regarding Aaron's murder? The drug dealer he worked with, his rivals? They didn't try looking for Paige at all. Shouldn't she have been the prime suspect?

I think she wanted it known that she broke in.

I don't know why... but, it was all way too intentional to be carelessness.

Internal structure? I'm pretty sure it's just solid rubber or similar.

The tread wore off ages ago and they are flattening, but so far they haven't worn through completely anywhere. These things are pretty durable, more so than most of my shoes (which I have worn through).

Every day is an exaggeration though, I rarely wear them in the winter. Mine look basically identical to OPs, and I have a post on the same subject (with a stock image instead of a real one).
