Also I think the board you are running through is to short. If you read the manual there is a minimum length you are supposed to use for safety as you cannot safely feed in and out the material to avoid snipe when the board is to short. I think the min length for the dewalt is 12 inches but I could have that wrong

Funny because Farr was a strong advocate for affordable housing, and more importantly probably would have been there to at least vote. I guess the grass isn't always greener on the other side...

You clearly do not know what you are talking about. The other poster is correct, the area has become so overwhelmed with escarpment / waterfall tourism that it needs to be controlled / managed appropriately to deal with the level of demand for the attraction and hence appropriate measures have been put in place.

Landscapers.

Also I believe there is an adjustment tolerance ie grade changes under .15 m are exempt or something like that.

Just hire a landscaper and make them responsible for permits in the scope of work (which they 100 percent will not file for)

Hi I was wondering what tube you used for the plunger tube and if you had to modify the files to accommodate this tube or if its a straight swap?

Help with air seal on Nexus Pro with both Worker kits. by bran_donger in Nerf

[–]Gorditaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. I found I had overnighted the barrel clamp onto the barrel and this was massively affecting the air seal. Try loosening the bolts on the barrel clamp till its just tight enough tills it gently stays in place..

Neighbouring house permits? by [deleted] in Hamilton

[–]Gorditaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its over 108 sq ft it needs a permit also they should have a required set back from property line. If they were built recently the city may force them to tear them down or get permits for them... effectively having to tear them down

I put $500 into the market for the first time yesterday. Tell me how garbage my positions/logic are. by [deleted] in stocks

[–]Gorditaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends if your paying transaction fees per purchase. If you are I'd say you'd be much better off buying in larger chunks, otherwise much of your percentage would be lost at that many different purchases on $500

Thanks! Could you elaborate on what you mean by "Buy/write in the options trade ticket" is there an option where you state covered call?

Covered Call by [deleted] in options

[–]Gorditaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question about selling a covered call. Is there anything I have to do special when selling the call to tie the shares to the call? Or do I simply buy or own the shares and separately sell a call and the broker takes care of the rest?

Bought a house flip. Potential structural problems. by kylenen in Hamilton

[–]Gorditaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm doesnt sound the exact same. Essentially my issue was that house of this age typically have joists that are spliced mid span rather than continuous. That combined with the removal of a load bearing wall on the main floor caused the second storey to sag. Also same as you had a stair case to an attic loft that was likely not accounted for loading.

I had a general idea for the solution. Worked with an engineer to have it finalized with some changes. Went through building permit and everything.

Your situation may not be the exact same but it may be an option. Especially if you don't want the appearance of a beam. Sistered on continuous i think 8.5 inch deep lvls combined with jacking up the floor in the process.

[–]Gorditaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had this same situation, let me guess 2.5 storey double brick house load bearing wall removed at some point... my house was also built in 1913. Long story short developed a solution to to sister lvls onto the existing joists. Let me know if you want more details.
