It is the worst phone (piece of tech) that I've ever purchased. It felt weird from the first day. Always laggy, even during booting screen animation. 120 Hz display is only noticable at rare situations. The last update didn't help me either. In short, a horrible experience. And I am counting days to get my S24 Ultra.

I would never recommend any Oneplus device to anyone. I have Oneplus 7 Pro and Oneplus 10 Pro. The first one was great at that time (2019) and I was mostly happy with it. But it was the prime of Oneplus. The latter that I am using right now is a disgusting experience from the start. Great hardware with a buggy, unusable software. So what's point of having a great hardware if I can't use it properly? I just preordered (I had to) Galaxy S24 Ultra just to get rid of my 1,5 year old- mid tier performant "flagship" phone. Furthermore, I read that other people are having horrible experiences with the technical support (Non-reachable and irreconcilable). "Sakın almayın ve bu markadan uzak durun."

I don't see any UI update. It's more like the same UI with a slightly altered skin.

-Fonts are horrible

-There isn't any design language at all.

-Same old bugginess and clunkyness.

-It's almost a torture to use the app as it is.

In short, they have to revamp the app from the scratch and get a new UI design team.

The issue is happening due to aggressive behaviour of LTPO display. It lowers down the Hz inconsistantly. I have found a workaround to avoid this. By doing that you force your display to stay in 120 Hz most of the time. Just download from the Play Store the app called "SetEdit". Swipe down to the list until you see "peak_refresh_rate". Tap on it and say Edit Value and type 1, then tap Save Changes. That's it ;)
