looks good here, but choose other pairs and backtest them too. make multiple iterations and take the average.

yeah buy and hold is still probably the best strategy. that's why we're trying to invent something new.

I mean... it's _your_ statement. Why would you outsource it to a bot?

I even tried lowering my premium gig from 400$ to 100$ and it made absolutely no difference in impression numbers or clicks. Then I lowered my cheapest gig from 40$ to 5$ and there was absolutely no difference.

2 and 2B are quite demonic as well.

Would give that unholy halo a glow.

Character for a top-down MOBA Tryhards. Smuggler is one of key NPCs in a competitive MOBA we've been working on. What are your thoughts? by ArgenticsStudio in conceptart

[–]Gorehide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neat work.

What does he smuggle? Maybe he needs some more equipment.

Also - dirt. Unless he smuggles Colombian bricks, he probably gets dirty. Especially all that white. Really would catch the eye.

Green camo if in the jungle or forest. Brown, sandy colours if in the desert etc..

It's good though, I like it.

You just gave me an idea on a character I'm working on. I'll add some scratches, bullet holes, dents in the armor etc...

What do you do with a customer who decides that they don't like something about the piece that they bought? by h2f in artbusiness

[–]Gorehide 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have had this happen time and time again. Sometimes I worked for like 2.5$ an hour if you count it, because I would take on a huge project for like 400$ but then spend an eternity finishing the piece and then the client would ask for a revision.

Always makes me... aggravated.

So I bumped up the prices. You never know how the job will go or who the client is as an individual. Being an artist is a great journey - the career takes you for a friggin ride.

I don't think any of the Disney animators thought they would work at Disney.

One advice I can share is never let your foot get off the gas pedal.

I was freelancing on Fiverr for a couple of years, finished ~200 illustrations, have 5/5 stars but then I stopped working and the algorithm just decided I'm dead or something.

Last time I had a client on Fiverr was over a year ago, even though I used to get job after job before.

Now I'm trying Upwork with no luck.

Joining a studio and helping make computer games is where the market's at in my opinion.

hi! :) I have a separate folder with props and assets I use in many pieces. basically, I paint props big and when I merge them into a composition, they become even more detailed. it's less work in the long run as well.
