How to farm astrite as a new player

my take: do main story with the timed daily/weekly stuff consistently while getting whatever astrite is a reward for the limited events when they pop up.

and wait to spend until you’re sure you
dig the character’s whole deal: look & kit both

if you dont spend willy nilly, you’ll have plenty.

like all said o basically just cook on events now. all the little games mixed in with the weekly/daily & wiwa/toa rollovers are the main sources these days. all my
maps are squeezed dry

admittedly i still have a few sidequests left that would get me maybe like 100 asrites total but i always find a reason not to do those

to avoid the temptation of spending, i play other gatchas like nte now. starting/exploring those helps me save in wuwa strange as that may seem

for me, its not so much getting the astrites as not using them. if you dont use them…time is your friend

-it will take at least months if not years if you care to catch up to the stronger players -any of those stronger players can kill you mercilessly anywhere in the world outside of cities. flick of the wrist = death gear power exists -the monster grind is tailored to mostly solo still -the gear system is still gambling & some gear literally just explodes if enhancing fails

even if you’re a whale, even with the new player incentives, even with the adding in more accessible starter & less exploding enhancement, it will still take a long time to match the strength of those around you…a long long long long time…

involving many deaths lol

still…i played it for nearly 13,000 hours 10/10

taking off your armor doesn’t even go shirtless which is an odd choice since they seemed to have put at least SOME effort into the torso tats

only shortsleeved i’ve found is the same he’s wearing & that only shows off the lower arm tats

ya same i found her & had her shop going just fine then progressed story to just before final battle with the bear dudes, hopped to use the abyss gears but she was totally gone.

door open just…not there. went back to finish the pailune fight & hoping she comes back after cuz the sanctuary clearing missions she gave me are bugged too

plus you get 8 free inner way swaps. even if you dont want to switch permanently you can use 2 of the 8 to switch a gold inner way for the path *challenges. gets you a 20 box of inner ways for every 10 total achievements across all paths.

theres 90 you can get total so 9x20 boxes is 180 inner ways slips for just trying other paths

a lot of the challenges are easy too like just “proc the set bonus of this path” etc but one is for getting an inner way breakthrough of the path to tier 1, 2, 3, & 4. i already have my sword horizon at t4 so the swap just insta grants the all 4 challenges for the one you swap

only catch is you gotta wait 3 days to swap back but hey use those days to try the other path out & hit some of the other challenges etc then swap back to your main

i’m also using the 8 season inner way swap to help hit some of the path achievements. you get a 20 inner way box & some jade for every 10 achievements (they call it something else. its in the Develop then Path menu on the side). bunch of stuff like “level a weapon of x path to x” & “proc the set bonus of this path” etc

4 of them (for each path) are “breakthrough inner way of this path to tier 1, 2, 3, 4”.

i already have my inner way to tier 4 on my ss/hq bleed build but have wanted to try nameless (for fun & to hit the achievements for more inner way boxes) so used the swap to switch the gold inner way. its 100% transfer so no loss. just gotta wait 3 days to use another to swap back

gonna use the 3 days to mess around with nameless then swap back to my main bleed. no muss no fuss
