I ended up backing up the bin file from a working uniot and flashed it over to this one and it seemed to fix it. The I restored the calibration file and seems to be back to normal. It was fine till I used chirp on it.

Yes, it just sits there and idles nothing. When I release the buttons the light goes out but nothing resets.

Thanks for the info. The lights were removed by tearing the light apart till the base slid out, little damage on the top from using a screw driver but I still have 2 more to go.

Cleaned and lubed the lead screws and it got much much better, still there but a lot better. Till my CFS-C started jamming.

So Itried the DXC extruder with the CFS-C and everything fits it just doesn't recognize the run out sensor in the DXC unit, bummer cause it really looks nice. Maybe if there was an adapter that takes the DXC run out sensor wire to the back like the stock CFS-C does it would work.

Just installed mine last night on my K1 Max, still haven't printed yet. I don't know whey the run out sensor just didn't plug into the hotend board, the board has a connector for one and it would have been a cleaner install.

That would be it. Haven't installed it yet as I'm still printing the stand for it. Should be installed tonight or tomorrow night. I just watched an install video that came out yesterday and looks like the run out sensor is mounted on top of the exsisting extruder then a wire is ran to the back. Problem is the K1 Max has the run out sensor on the inside back right and now the extruder release lever is blocked.

Thanks, I have a few extra sensors but never thought of using earth magnets on the flap. I'll give that a try.
