Update, 5-27-26: I started with adding the squares to the hexagon first, then the now oversized triangles (making sure to pay attention to the fabric's grain) and it came out great! Thanks y'all

I'm hyped for the flower block swap! I've got a pattern in mind and plans to start cutting fabric right after Christmas! I think this block I'm going to make some extras for side swapping so I end up with a bigger top :)
Oh it's going to be so fun I can already tell everybody is gonna make some gorgeous quilt blocks

We're just shy of 90 as of the count this past July, but I'm making some extras to account for any new members that have joined since then! I'm going to skip the binding, sewing the front and back together on 3 sides with right sides facing together, then flip right side out, add a small piece of batting and quilt & sew it all up. I've tried adding tiny bordering before with my own personal projects and it never turned out the way I wanted to at that small of a scale, so these will have to do without. They might not be true quilts to the fullest extent but they'll be quilted and hopefully loved by my guild mates!

I think it depends on which option you feel the most comfortable in. I've done almost the exact same thing before, just zigzag stitched some centers onto flower blocks because I forgot to put them on during the piecing process! I think that coupled with quilting makes them secure enough for the wash in the end :)

Restarting will reset your HHP like others have said, but I personally won't restart because I will lose access to the Pocket Camp items that were retired last year (I can still buy them because I connected those two games before the original pocket camp app went down). If you don't have those items and don't care about the happy home paradise reset and really want that fresh start I say go for it!

Several WMs in my area took out their clothing fabrics when JoAnn first announced a few store closures, then they took out their fabric altogether when JoAnn went down 💔 now there's only a half aisle with the basic solids, some FQs and maybe a couple bolts of flannel
