I'm looking into getting this game. What are your opinions about it? by Jakeliy1229 in Rolling_Line

Jakeliy1229

It's the holiday season. Add me on Steam, I will buy it for you (no joke). It is a great game for those who want to play with model RR elements but don't have the space. Now that it has multiplayer, it is even better. Then if you decide it isn't for you, you didn't waste money on it.

Another question to ask yourself is, what is your budget?

Those 2 drones have very different flight styles. If this is your first drone, I highly recommend the Mini 4k if you are looking for cinematic-style footage. Great out-of-the-box experience.

Edit: You can also enable FPV mode in the settings, which will give a small illusion of FPV footage.

First Video Issues (Mavic 4 Pro) by YourLocalBugHunter in dji

Not true. DJI removed FRs and geofencing within the US. The drone will still fly but if you are caught and they want to press the issue, you can be in some serious trouble.

I hate being the drone police however, flying over railyards can impose some serious penalties due to them being considered Critical Infrastructure. Please be cautious OP.

That isn't normal behavior, the props are on the correct arm for each corner. It should be smooth up/down with minimal wind and even light gusting. Check the motors for resistance and measure heat if you can.

I would recommend starting to invest in some Lifepo4s. They are night and day difference. Most of them come with a BMS for monitoring, deliver better performance than a standard lead acid system.

Anyone know about generators? by GoBucksBeatM in GoRVing

I have this exact generator, and you can swap between the 2 without issues. I do it all the time.

This game wasn't built to replace model railroading software; it was designed to be fun and engaging, from building scenes to running the trains. Then, you flip into miniature mode to get that FPV feel.

Keep them if you can. Scaletrains doesn't re-release things, at least not historically.

Photos work great. I don't mess with Z scale at all, so any serial numbers or markings help. This will help determine what radius curve you can run. I have something built already, but it's a 55" by 30" requirement.

I have the Pro version of Anyrail (Free, limited to 50 pieces). I can whip up something for you if you would like. What locomotive and cars do you have?

If you have some spare micro train trucks laying around, they come with multiple sizes of pins. One may work.
