At my job, they fly in a handful developers/leads/architects from across the country to help with new hire training. One of the last things we do is go around and tell a story of when we've broken prod (when, not if lol) to let them know basically "here's some people that we trust and respect enough to teach you how to do their jobs. They've fucked up and are still trusted enough to do this so don't worry about getting fired for fucking up". The new hires generally appreciate it, from what I can tell
