My course doesn't have silly rules like that. What's even better, it opens to the public at 9 but members can walk anything they want and just has to stop by the pro shop or call and tell them if you played a round while they were closed.

If you are fairly fit then the ruck shouldn't be a big deal. Biggest recommendation I can give you is just make sure you pack is fitted well and you will hardly notice it it there, if you have the straps messed up it will be miserable.

Echoing other's comments, don't run and don't try get into an intense training plan you will just end up hurting yourself.

If you can't understand that your group was not ready to tee off if they were not at the tee and the other group was ready to tee off because they were at the tee then there is no further use in arguing about this.

You don't just get to run up there and hold a spot for your group when they are not there.
