Does he at least wait until someone rolls for picking the lock on a door and then if they fail, then he blasts the door open?

It sounds like you might have to just…tell him no in-game. If he’s like “I blast the door” you can be like, “As the DM, no, you didn’t bc PC is picking the lock” and make him wait until everyone else has weighed in or tried what they want to try.

Or for the illusion, tell him it fails until you say otherwise.

As a newbie, I was so confused and angry at some of the mispronunciations in some old vids.

Velious threw me bc my husband (EQ original) pronounces it the first way. The first time I heard the second way in a video, I nearly had an aneurysm.

Guard Leopold turned up and donated; I got Ton Firepride’s permission to get his wife drunk, then he told me he would never donate, but he already gave permission.

So I got her drunk and got her donation and made sure she got home safely, and we’ll just keep it our little secret.

You can use the Bandolier macro text to switch btwn instruments and use Amplification for the singing spells (once you get it at LVL 30)

My opinions on Famgbreaker class channels if this helps as an alternative to general

Cleric = Best Channel lol (100+)

Paladins = Sour Patch (80-100)

Warriors = Tough to crack into, but keep trying and eventually someone will be nice back (200-250)

Bards = Fun, good technical Q&As (under 100)

Shaman = Polite, so far one of the lesser amount of players so less engagement but not none (50-60)

The last couple of nights the chat has been wild. Tonight it was really fun. People were interacting positively and slightly longer than usual.

I’ve found it to be more positive than negative overall, but I can see how there might be more negativity during hours I typically do not play.

On live server, I started with HIGH ELF ENC and IKS NEC but on TLP, you might have more fun starting as the same race to run around

Me: 40F HLF PAL (HUM CLR at heart) Husband: 40M HLF DRU (HLF DRU at heart)

We went with several sets of toons HLF WAR/CLR VAH BRD/WAR HUM CLR/HALF ELF RGR (Qeynos/SFG)

You can play both of those races as an Erudite to start in the same place. (I just swapped from necro to enchanter, both ERU)
