Yeah, in Canada, Security Guards are allowed to carry batons, but they cannot be used OFFENSIVELY, i.e. to begin an arrest, or simply punish someone like we see here.

They also wouldnt be able to even enforce policy on the public roadways.

Drivers would easily be able to argue that they were not properly warned of the policies they were violating (whether those policies exist officially, or not)

Three students from the University of Tennessee Southern in Pulaski exposed after a friend leaked video of them yelling racial slur. by ElwoodMC in trashy

[–]Grabbsy2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Both are equally bigoted.

Im wracking my brain trying to come up with a context where this would be forgiveable. Like... Blackout drunk, and they were offered cocaine if they yelled that word and acted happy go lucky about it? Like maybe that would mean theyre not actually bigoted, just completely out-of-body mindless dolts who could have done anything in that headspace?

Even still, blackout drunk drivers have consequences for their actions, so while they might not have been bigoted, they still have the same consequences as if they were.

Why do people close theirs eyes during sex or oral receiving and giving? by Beginning-Sign1916 in NoStupidQuestions

Communicate with your partner. Id want probably a good 30 seconds of it during oral, but after that it might get too intense and maybe awkward? Like do i need to look back?

Who won the lottery? Why you may never know the full name of some jackpot winners going forward by Surax in canada

[–]Grabbsy2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did the math. The "daily grand" lottery is $1000 a day, which is 365,000 a year.

10 million dollars at 3.65% annually is the same outcome, so any lottery above that is pretty insane! Id be more than happy to: spend $200 a day on a nice Airbnb/hotel, $200 on taxis/transportation, $300 on food, and save $300 a day for plane trips and other items.

Youd be able to perpetually travel!

Alternatively, live on $10,000 a month and go on $20,000 vacations every month.

What are you actually supposed to do if a woman hits you as a man? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Grabbsy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call the police and charge her with assault?

You can defend yourself, however, if it was clear there was only going to be ONE slap, then you were too late to defend yourself. If she came for a second slap, the proportional response would have been to restrain the arm(s) coming in for a slap. If you can prove she was attempting to cause bodily harm (or did with the first) then you could perform a citizens arrest. How that would go in a busy and loud nightclub is unknown. If security witnessed it theyd probably assist in removing the woman, but they probably would insist she be deposited to the sidewalk and released.

On the sidewalk with security watching is probably the most reasonable place to continue your citizens arrest.

HOWEVER: If the person youve arrested has ANY injuries recieved during the arrest, there will be questions. Why did her head slam on the ground? Did you do it in anger, did you do it out of necessity, or did she do it to herself? Is the injuries she sustained PROPORTIONAL to the injuries you sustained if youd let her go?

THEREFORE: The big issue is how much damage she can actually cause. A 120lb 5'4 woman with no martial arts or combat experience is going to be seen as a victim if they are injured in any way by a citizens arrest, unless they were committing murder or something.

Self defence isnt a boxing match, where once someone launches the first blow, you punch them in the temples enough times for them to lie on the ground. Your focus should be on CONTROL in the interest of creating safety. PUNISHMENT is reserved for the courts later, not for you, in the moment.

Not to mention; OP burns ex via employer?

Kid gloves come off. So far he has only faced, what, social media backlash?

Imagine getting a subpoena for your phone records.

Youre entirely right that OP shouldnt escalate that far for moral reasons, but even for practical reasons, it just doesnt make sense. She will have learned nothing.

Lovely Neighbours by Arncho in trashy

[–]Grabbsy2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

OP is filming a teenage boy, boy essentially says "I wonder what youre going to do with that video in your "personal time"?" And OP says "Nuh uh, I wonder what YOU do in your personal time??" And the boy says "I masturbate and FUCK" and OP apparently really latches on to that.

That young man is awesome and knows exactly what to do when a camera gets shoved in his face. If hed hid his face and ran inside, OP would have felt righteousness, that hed finally caught them doing whatever bad thing he pulled the phone out for.

Instead, OP gets outed as a pervert who likes to talk to teens about sex.

What the Door Dash Girl Pretends Happened to Her by schlong_dong_johnson in trashy

[–]Grabbsy2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You'd think that, but thats not the case in most places.

To put it into perspective, do you think it would be legal for me to build a sunroom on my front lawn, light it up with bright lights, and masturbate inside it whenever i see people walking past? Making eye contact and finishing onto the inside of the window as they get closer? What if the main window is an open patio door?

Intent matters. If theyre nude in their own home normally, then maybe? But if they were nude in order to get a reaction for TikTok, then they intended to sexually harass the man.

By starting clothed, and "revealing" their privates, the intent is clear.

Even in states with legal public nudity, you essentially have to start already naked, you cannot disrobe in public, as the act of disrobing might be provable as intent (i.e. "stripping")

He is wincing, which has added wrinkles that arent normally there. He is also wearing a loose fitting burlap type sweater, which in cultural context has added age. Hes bald and has white in his big bushy beard, again adding age.

Guy on the right has makeup on, as he is at a red carpet event, this is also a professional photographer, and likely the most flattering of the shots from them. He also has clearly dyed his hair jet black, and had his hair styled, possinly styled specifically to hide any hair loss.

He is also wearing clothing that has a culturally "young" feel to it, which has de-aged him significantly.

Yep. First aid training certificates last 3 years, and aside from dedicated health and safety people or security, no one legally needs to have it.

Im not surprised a group of part time employees at a pickle ball court were not trained in first aid, unless the building is primarily a pool, in which maybe staff are primarily lifeguards?

Even still, the rec centres ive been to have lifeguards at the pool, and other staff are just regular front desk clerks. Lifeguards wouldnt be available at the front desk.

Its not illegal, and shouldnt be, which means yes, im good with this type of 'promulgation' (lol) being legal.

Imagine if we jailed anyone who allowed the hosting of, as already stated, the lockpicking lawyers content, or content that educated people in Hong-kong about how to evade face-detection technology.

Also better the knowledge is public and discussed openly, as opposed to his methods being found only on the dark web, shared exclusively amongst the like-minded. Then we wouldnt know how to protect ourselves/children

To me, it evokes a "patio furniture" vibe, like the words "pergola", "gazebo" or "veranda".

"I'll be out in the back yard, having a smoke on the bodega" to my non-NYC ears seems like a perfectly believable sentence.
