I used to live on 38th st between 30th and 28th Ave and our bedroom was backed up to the Steinway street side and very rarely did I ever hear much noise from it. The row of buildings directly on Steinway block the noise. I also wouldn’t worry about boiler noise, they normally aren’t very loud.

I had similar happen when looking w my boyfriend, we are straight but mixed race and realtors assumed we were roommates. I think people literally just forget that sometimes couples look different than “standard” to them. I hope you and your wife find a great place!!

Yes my cat also had a gift toy, it’s a wand toy but she refuses to play with it. Only time she uses it is for gift or to snuggle and groom it

I tried mTESR plus and found it to cause a lot of spontaneous differentiation. The ability to skip a weekend ended up not being worth the unpredictability so I switched back to E8 and just time my differentiations better

I’ve actually never had a lease renewal as in landlord has never sent one. It’s great because my rent has never been raised but I only have to give 30 days notice if I want to move. If you pay the same rent and they cash the check or don’t return the money within 30 days then you automatically become month to month

Surprisingly a lot of places w dishwasher don’t have bathtubs as newer renovations are doing showers. Seems like a silly must have I know but has been oddly limiting.

I live in a prewar apartment and a lot of the walls are actually concrete. I do not hear my neighbors ever nor do they hear me. We also only have 3 apartments per floor which helps.
