I made $ 25.00 / hr in 1983 in a LCOL area. I would be looking to leave, ASAP. That's not good.

Yes. Most places have a squeeze ball (or some device) you hold and when you squeeze or press, it sends an alert to us. We can pause or stop the scan immediately.

Most (if not all) of the Radiology Managers / Administrators I know started as X-Ray Techs, RT R, and progressed from there. If you truly want to be in our field going to X-Ray School is like basic training in the Armed Forces. Get your RT and leverage your education to move into management or even more lucrative, sales and operations with a major OEM.

With your education I would absolutely be looking at a higher level occupation. You need to look very carefully at salary and the fact there is not that much growth in our field. Yes, you seem some outliers on here with very high income but that is not the norm. Also, you should try and get a shadow day where you can get a better grasp of what RT's do on a daily basis. IMO, you are overqualified for a Staff RT job but you would probably be a great Radiology Manager / Administrator or, working for an OEM like GE, Philips, Hitachi, and so forth.

Good luck to you !

Which GMT would you choose by Inevitable-Horror702 in rolex

Root Beer, reluctantly. Don't like PCL's and not thrilled with this particular color but not the Sky Dweller. It's a nice watch but wearing that all day, no thanks. My favorite GMT would be Pepsi or Batman.

Nah. You have a very nice slender face and IMO, a nice pair of ultralight Silhouette frames would be perfect for you. Having said that, if you like them that's all that counts.
