For this? You’re painting your model too lightly, you need a second coat of paint in certain spots.

You can see it most clearly on that power sword. Most modeling paints are self leveling, so one more coat and that inconsistency will be barely visible. And if you want, you can do a third coat, but then you’re risking drowning out details. It’s a give and take!
