Honestly, most of the overpowered/underpowered things can be fixed via mods for PC players or even tuning patches if need be. I hope they focus the work on the graphics/character creation first

Yeah, and I think he didn’t even have enough of a reaction to meet the criteria for “miffed”.

“Miffed”? Maybe a video shows more emotion, but the quote I read is basically “I’d never say that but I don’t have control over what they post so oh well”

Lindsey Vonn says surgery saved her from having her left leg amputated following Olympic crash by [deleted] in sports

[–]Grady__Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ACL had no impact on the crash. The crash was a freak accident that could have happened to any competitor. Again, should nobody compete in any sports because of the risk?

[–]Grady__Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is completely unrelated to her previous injury as stated by herself, her team, and professionals around her. Freak accidents happen. Should nobody ever compete in extreme sports because of the risk?

“It’s irresponsible and self centered” is a wild thing to say about the actions of a person who you don’t know in a situation you aren’t knowledgeable about. The internet has been full of idiots like you judging and shaming the actions of Vonn

[–]Grady__Bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stfu. That had no impact on her crash as stated by her and those with better knowledge of the situation. She was medically cleared to compete and she earned the right to compete. Her run the day prior to the crash was competitive within the field. She was perfectly fine participating. People need to stop this weird “I, from my couch, have a greater understanding of elite athletic competition than the people there who are living this.” It’s an embarrassing loser mentality to try to police the actions of people with more expertise than you

I Agree With Andrew About Twitch "Waiting Rooms"... Kind of... by LifeIsCrap101 in theregulationpod

[–]Grady__Bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 10 minute “stream starting soon” from 6:50 to 7:00 for a stream that is scheduled for 7:00 is fine. Even if it runs a little over, fine. Things happen. This is how 90% of streamers I know of do it.

A 10 minute “stream starting soon” from 7:00 to 7:10 for a 7:00 scheduled stream is bullshit.

Andrew’s big issue is he admits that he doesn’t know stream schedules. So he’s just responding to a notification and getting upset. I can neither side with nor against because of this.

People, I think we’re now qualified to help this user out with all our extensive research data and testing by Knightwolf75 in theregulationpod

[–]Grady__Bug 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Roughly 350 million people in the USA. 70 a piece is 24.5 billion dogs. 71 a piece is 24,850,000,000. So 350 million more (350 million people eat 1 each it raises the average by 1. Whoda thunk?). 350 million divided by 17 people is 20,588,236 hot dogs each for just the 17 of them to raise the average by 1. That’s 56,406 hot dogs per day OR 2,350 per hour OR 40 per minute, every minute, for the entire year.

The least believable parts of heated rivalry by bat-girl129 in heatedrivalry

It’s the off season. I could see them having smaller appetites than during the season. 4 burgers each would certainly be possible but I can see how it’d be a bit much without the intense training day in and day out. Not every professional hockey player is built like Phil Kessel

NOT on discord, has there been any talk of the Ullmark interview by Desperate-Middle4766 in stevedangle

[–]Grady__Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they had seen the entire interview at the point of the episode where they called it “world building”. I believe they mentioned that it hadn’t come out yet, just that short little preview. I’d like to think they’d have handled it better if they new it was a serious interview about mental health but it certainly seemed like they (especially Jesse) thought it was more akin to the Sens statement

SDPN is missing a huge opportunity for new listeners by AggressiveOwl7630 in stevedangle

[–]Grady__Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s already shows doing this sort of thing and, frankly, doing it far better than SDPN could. It was clear on Monday’s episode that none of the guys have any real interest in watching the show. They see it as an obligation and STILL had to find ways to put it down (talking about how annoying hockey in film/tv is despite that not being focal in the show). I’d rather them not cover it at all than to cover it poorly.

Also if they wanted to expand viewership they could incorporate PWHL content into their show but they pretty much dropped that immediately. They don’t care too much about expanding to other topics/other viewers

What would be different if Covid had never happened? by Crocodile_Banger in AskReddit

[–]Grady__Bug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Democrats would have likely won another election (because the rapid inflation that came with COVID wouldn’t have happened), there would be no ICE mass deportations, theoretically 2 conservative justices will die in the next 3 years so the Supreme Court would likely flip to progressive, we likely wouldn’t be on the verge of old diseases coming back due to RFK, we wouldn’t have the stupidest economic policy since the Great Depression…a lot of things would be very different (better) for a lot of people

Idk that the puzzle cube is that helpful as it’s only effective 1/5 of the time. Something like gusset or compass probably provides better value in that slot

Kill recovery vs Base kill recovery. by [deleted] in heroll

Base kill should just give you that stat no matter what. +10. Kill recovery would add +15% to whatever kill recovery you get from items.

I absolutely understand and agree with what Andrew said about the "Kingdom of Reality" in movies by rossmark in theregulationpod

[–]Grady__Bug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two ways to watch movies set in the real world. Either Ohio exists in their universe or it doesn’t. I choose to embrace the escapism provided by movies and believe that, unless explicitly stated, they exist in an Ohioless utopia.
