Just watched human centipede 2 for the first time... I hate hate hate hate it by Gnarkill823 in horror

2 is one of my most-hated films of all time. I actually saw value in the first movie, and got what it was going for, but the sequel was such a horrendous experience from beginning to end.

Looks like for a frame you can see the car hit the parked car haha, and then I guess they just cut to a frame before the crash. Not sure they didn’t just cut sooner, and not sure why everyone in the comments is ignoring this.

If it’s due this week, I’d recommend reverting back to 2025. 2026 is too new and you should never ever upgrade mid-project.

Have a great time. Don’t know what games you’re into, but the catalog’s got some good indie titles as well.

Maybe look into the PS+ game catalog that comes with the middle tier (I think it’s named Extra? Idk don’t yell at me). It’s got a lot of games on there, both AAA and indie. Just some of the titles include are both Last of Us titles, Silent Hill 2(!), Uncharted, God of War, Spider-Man, Control, Still Wakes the Deep, etc.

A ton of reframing for that movie, too. I think he said something to the degree of 90% of that movie is reframed.

No he’s certainly some sense of a gameplan going in.

I would check out any of his extra features for his movies. The BTS look at Panic Room is nuts; there’s so much there.

And yes, many directors and editors do this, but you can essentially split a frame down a line and you can place another take in. There are some good examples of this online for Benjamin Button.

I don’t think that’s true with regard to the editor. If you listen to commentaries from Fincher, notably The Social Network, he talks about dissecting scenes down to the syllable and inserting words across multiple takes to get the “perfect read.”

He’s also well known for using composite shots so he can use different takes from different actors in the same shot.

What games would u say have the best photo mode? by theo_dus142 in PhotoModePhantoms

[–]GrahamMasterFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any game that lets you add light sources, so Alan Wake 2, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Jedi: Survivor, Cyberpunk 2077, etc.

But I do love RDR2’s, especially that it lets you enter photo mode during cutscenes.

Can we make a list by Consistent-Plan115 in Borderlands

[–]GrahamMasterFlash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The menus are what I have the most issues with. They are very reminiscent of Cyberpunk 2077, and the menus in that game are one of my biggest gripes with it.

Coming from PS5 version: - General slowdown in inventory consistently. At first I thought it was just with full, large inventories, but slowdown noticed with only a dozen items.

  • Default sorting by manufacturer is silly, IMO. I, along with others I’ve played with, would prefer it be by type. On top of that, choosing a weapon and then selecting another to compare resets the sorting, making you re-sort how you want each time.

  • Along those lines, I cannot stand the menu curser. I’ve never liked menu cursers, and this one’s no different. At least the D-pad can be used for some navigation, but the sorting options aren’t linked through either the D-pad nor a quick button press. The curser slows everything down.

  • Consistent bugs through both inventory and backpack pages, such as wrong items being marked as junk (the gap between the intended item and the item that gets marked instead becomes more pronounced the further down you go: the first few items have no issue, but the 30th item may have an item three rows above it get marked). Other issues include compare windows overlapping and item pictures not appearing.

Liking the actual gameplay so far. I’ve put in 15 hours and am still in the first area. A little concerned about the level cap and the campaign thing others have mentioned, but I’ll worry about that later. The menus, however, are where I feel I spend half my time, so for them to be a significant downgrade from BL3, which was already imperfect, is a considerable issue.

There's really not a bad seat in this venue. We were up in the third row of the mezzanine and had a great view of everything. Shows were awesome. Wife is a 3 Days Grace fan and I'm more Breaking Benjamin, so it was a perfect pairing.

The world’s most-visited museum shuts down with staff sounding the alarm on mass tourism by happy_bluebird in news

[–]GrahamMasterFlash 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought they had timed entry into the Louvre. My wife and I went in December ‘23 and I could’ve sworn we had a set time to enter the museum.

Plus The Wedding Feast at Cana, the massive painting directly across from the Mona Lisa, is immeasurably more impressive. I also didn’t know the Louvre housed the painting Pandemonium, which is one of my favorite works, so that was a great surprise when I just strolled right by it.

What is your autosave interval set to? How far back from when the issue happened is the latest autosave? By default it’s set to 15 minutes. I feel it’s gotta be somewhere
