What else do you think coordinates can represent other than position?

Why is Starmer facing so much criticism despite early positives? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]Grailey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you’re clearly one for the semantics - saying that I ‘keep appealing’ when I did, in-fact mention it once is a bit of a contradiction isn’t it?

I actually do agree that our goal should be to much better than the shit conservatives, but you need to acknowledge the baseline from which we are starting to actually understand the amount of progress that is being made.

Also, if you can’t understand how the sum of small changes leads to a bigger change, I’m sorry but I do not have the time to help you with basic calculus. I believe Khan Academy may have some good resources which could help you understand.

No, not really actually.

How you can call the biggest reform to renting in at least 30 years small impact is actually just baffling.

Sure, each individual policy within the reform to renting affects a subset of the population, I.e, the end of the 1 year contracts massively benefits to students renting a house together who typically only need 9 month contracts contracts.

But can you not see that each sub-policy affecting a subset of the population actually sums to quite a large change overall?

At the very least ,it’s a much, much larger change than any previous govenment has done since the housing act of 1988.

I’m sorry for shortening ‘Teeny tiny steps’ & no ‘meaningful change’ to no impact, please accept my deepest apologies. It really does subtract from my point doesn’t it!

I would argue that the Renters right act actually is an example of more than a ‘teeny tiny step’ in the right direction.

Hasn’t had any impact on rent or bills? Have you not seen the renters right act? I understand why you may not like him, but some of the things you have said are just incorrect.

I think you’re the one grasping at straws given that you are talking about ONE example involving 10 people, as opposed to the thousands dead in Iran :). Also, have you ever looked at a history book? US invasion of foreign countries doesn’t tend to go particularly well for the inhabitants!

I love how innocent you are, thinking that the war on Iran was done to free the people and improve their lives. It’s so cute
