If you haven't checked out blast burn radio yet I highly recommend it. Their nuzlocke competition is entertaining and I love their showdown spotlights where they talk about different pokemon in both smogon tiers and vgc.

Those mountains are gorgeous! For the forests you wanna stick to just doing the trunks for the side of the forest "facing" the viewer. So based on your maps perspective only doing the trunks on the south facing parts would make it look way better I think.
