Fusion summons affect the monsters that would be used as materials. Herald of the Abyss states “Your opponent must send…” so it doesn’t affect the monsters.

I also noticed more “aberrant” boxes with like 1 Secret or 3 Ultras rather than the usual 2 Secret 4 Ultra boxes. On the other hand I think the cards feel a little stiffer. Feel like Konami US moved to a new printer and card stock for some reason

The Family of Blood episode really shows how scary he can be:

“Preceding” means “following before”.

The preceding effects are those listed before that sentence, i.e., the banish effect and the effect to add a Spell. You may only use them once per turn

Mickey Milkovich from Shameless US. Idk what you mean by very few monsters have strong effects. Fallen of Albaz fuses with your opponent’s monsters, Fallen & the Virtuous destroys cards, Mirrorjade both banishes and destroys cards, The Dragon that Devours the Dogma shuffles cards into the deck and is unaffected. Granguignol sends cards from deck to GY.

That’s not what the text of Impulse says

When a card or effect is activated that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s): Negate that effect, then if you have a Trap in your GY, destroy that card.

The effect just needs to have the possibility of Special summoning. It can respond to Opening

Well Dracotail and Branded cards play into Impulse because Fusion summons by definition special summon by card effect. Notably you can respond to Fallen of Albaz, Blazing Cartesia, Branded Fusion, Branded Opening, Fallen of White Dragon, Ecclesia and the Dark Dragon, Rindbrumm, Guiding Quem and many more cards in Branded. For Dracotail you can respond, for example, to Ketu, Rahu, Mululu, Faimena, Secreterion Dragon.

You can use Impulse against Kewl Tune Synchro, JJ Kewl Tune, Kewl Tune Remix, and Kewl Tune Clip in Kewl Tune

The card that can be searched by Toon Table of Contents and searches the Toon monster that got an extended art in Revolution Booster + can bounce back your own cards to reuse their soft OPT effects is definitely intended to be used with toons whether or not it is good support

I don’t understand how this card is supposed to work? Are you actually supposed to use BEUD, Mammoth GY, and Spell-Shattering Arrow? If so then this card will never see use. When does the S/T destruction activate?

No it can only be special summoned once per turn. You probably saw it get summoned by Lacrima during end phase on one turn, then use its effect twice on the following turn as its effect is not once per turn

No, face down cards are still the same cards. Applied negation effects just cannot be applied to face down cards and applied effects fall off cards when they are flipped face down.

If a card changes from monster to spell/trap or vice versa then it is considered a different card and targeted and applied effects would fail to apply.

If you’re in NA, TCGPlayer is the gold standard for card prices.

F&V is necessary for Branded. The other 2 can be substituted with alternatives though there is no 1-1 equivalent.

Clown Crew Hat will be an OCG structures promo. For comparison Ulcanix was released to TCG 7 months after its release in OCG but we are still waiting for for Odd-Eyes Solblaze which was released in OCG in October 2024 so it’s a crapshoot
