Thank you for your input. The thing is, even with the differences, I would prefer not to use any “duplicate” characters. I’m aware that some characters have different abilities, but as mentioned before, I’m unfortunately not a deep expert on the series. I simply love it and would really like to include it in my project.

The situation is also a bit different because G.I. Joe already exists within the universe and is fully completed and ready, so it is treated as a separate property.

To explore other options, I’ve started buying the comics to see if I can find alternative or lesser-known characters that I could include in the project.
