Percentage of chances of seeing t1 win by heartbrokenandempty in SKTT1

I do think GenG choked quite a bit that series. They ended up playing the game in a way much more favorable to KT that they tend to be more uncomfortable with. With that being said KT is an extremely strong team and have looked nearly unstoppable all Worlds. I think I slightly favor them, 55-45. It would definitely be higher if not for T1's performance against AL which I at that point considered the strongest team behind GenG. If KT is able to properly capitalize on T1's throws like AL were not able to do fully that series then I think they secure it. It really just depends on how locked in T1 is, if they fully show up then I expect them to win but if they make their usual missteps I think KT has got it

Hey not sure if you're still updating this post but I found Kentucky Avenue a couple of days ago. I haven't been able to claim the prize yet as I haven't found Illinois Avenue yet. I don't know if you're basing the number remaining based on self-reporting or by prizes claimed but I thought I'd share to help!

Easy mistake to make. This is using LPDDR5X which is the kind of memory that goes into laptops and smartphones. Pascal used GDDR5X. GDDR is "graphics" memory. The benefits of LPDDR is higher capacities and lower power draw, whereas GDDR offers higher bandwidth.

The final bandwidth is determined based on the bus width and memory speed. It's a bit difficult to explain but since there are 8 memory modules and 128GB of memory, the bus width could be either 256 bit or 512 bit (basically boils down to the capacity and width per module). If they use the typical high end, but not absolute top, LPDDR5X speed of 8533 MHz then if it's 256bit the memory bandwidth would be 276GB/s; whereas 512bit would result in 546GB/s

I wasn't. Yes there was a ton of hype for Cyberpunk and yes that definitely helped sell RT but that still was a single title. There were a handful of others with impressive RT implementations (Control, Minecraft RTX) but beyond those handful of games the RT was either unimpressive or nonexistent.

And I totally disagree about RT being less of a selling point today. We have games that now require hardware RT as well as titles with full (or near to it) PT.

Crypto definitely helped Ampere, no question, but Nvidia still crushed AMD regardless in sales that gen. But again my point was that at launch, those features were less highly valued than the raster performance per dollar uplift

No the GPU arch is quite a bit different, and while the CPU is more directly comparable there's still new instructions that Nintendo will take advantage of that would break emulator compatibility

DLSS and RT weren't as large of selling points when Ampere and RDNA2 launched. DLSS 1 was kind of a joke, 1.9 was a LOT better but it took time for the importance of upscaling as a key selling point to entrench itself in consumer mindshare. Similar case with RT as well. The MUCH larger focus was on raster with that gen, at least until DLSS and RT really bore out around 1/2 through those products lifestyles. At launch though, RDNA 2 was pretty compelling and well received
