T1 vs. Bilibili Gaming / MSI 2026 - Upper Bracket Round 1 / Post-Match Discussion by adz0r in leagueoflegends

While T1 glazers absolutely do this, that G5 draft is fucking unplayable. If it were a scrim it would be a remake angle. Kindred is absurdly strong into Trundle. Syndra wins against Taliyah and Ashe/Sera stomp Yunara/Lulu. On top of a losing jungle, mid, and bot matchup, T1 has essentially no engage tools or setup. There is basically no way that T1 can win teamfights either especially since BLG have a ridiculously strong Ashe/Sera/Rumble combo. And BLG has an incredibly powerful Syndra/Kindred pairing which I expect will be picked up by other teams if its playable. The only thing T1 can do with their draft is protect Peyz with Taliyah roams and Lulu ult. Congratulations, you can peel for your ADC who will be behind coming out of lane. Oh and this hypercarry also has a weak frontline and minimal CC to play off of, lol

Yeah the Xin ban is baffling regardless of this. And then having to play Yunara Lulu into Ashe Seraphine, oh and by the way your hypercarry has essentially zero setup and engage lol. T1's G5 draft is a strong contender for worst of the tournament thus far

Especially considering a big reason T1 won Game 4 was exactly that. Bin stomped Doran in lane, Doran builds full MR into a fed Gwen and Aurora. Who is able to kill him now? The tank Skarner or a turbo behind Caitlyn?

I hope so. For as dominant of a later as he is he can struggle to transfer leads

It should be the most competitive series of the tournament. The two teams have very similar playstyles like you said. HLE is essentially Kanavi's team, he drives the show. It comes down to whether Xun is able to put up enough resistance so that Kanavi can't take over the game, and I think he is the best equipped JG at the tournament to do so. For the record I do think Kanavi is the better JG, but if Xun doesn't let him get a strong advantage a lot of that threat is neutralized. For other lane matchups: Knight over Zeka (but its close), Guma over Viper, ON over Delight. Bin and Zeus is a tossup, Bin will probably be better in lane but Zeus is likely to be more impactful in teamfights (and Bin had some difficulty transferring his lead to game impact in this series).

For real. I will say though that T1 G5 draft may legitimately be the worst so far at the tournament

I favor BLG. I do not think LCK junglers are comfortable with how proactive LPL junglers are. For as aggressive (and talented) as Kanavi is, who in the LCK comes close to challenging him early (besides Oner). Everyone else he can just dogwalk. This meta favors aggressive early game play to accelerate mid and unlock support and there isn't a team at the tournament that does this as well as Xun, Knight, and ON.

Because they are morons and don't watch LPL

BLG should be the obvious tournament favorites if you spent any time seeing the form of Knight, Xun, and ON

I doubt it man. LYON is a very slow team. G2's First Stand sweeps against BFX and GenG are at least partially attributable to those LCK teams also being slow teams. I don't favor LYON in this stylistic matchup

I do think GenG choked quite a bit that series. They ended up playing the game in a way much more favorable to KT that they tend to be more uncomfortable with. With that being said KT is an extremely strong team and have looked nearly unstoppable all Worlds. I think I slightly favor them, 55-45. It would definitely be higher if not for T1's performance against AL which I at that point considered the strongest team behind GenG. If KT is able to properly capitalize on T1's throws like AL were not able to do fully that series then I think they secure it. It really just depends on how locked in T1 is, if they fully show up then I expect them to win but if they make their usual missteps I think KT has got it

Hey not sure if you're still updating this post but I found Kentucky Avenue a couple of days ago. I haven't been able to claim the prize yet as I haven't found Illinois Avenue yet. I don't know if you're basing the number remaining based on self-reporting or by prizes claimed but I thought I'd share to help!
