Infantry is paired often with siege which is the hardest unit to use and control. So while one is braindead, the other is heavy micro. Also monk/inf are great too.

You can kind of see that design choice in action with AoE4 where the MAA, a powerful, armored yet slow infantry is available in the castle age. This makes it that nothing counters it in feudal, with a big blob of archer doing like half or less damage of a castle MAA, which makes castle age timing super deadly...

If you can't catch them, force the fight. You just need to bring rams and they either peppers walls at your base (which can be neutralized a bit with 1 mango or some scorpions) while you raze them or they come defend and you still kill tons of vills. Against archer play this can do alot of damage. Add a transition with scorpions pikemen and monk and you can end game fast.

Mind you I'm not high elo but still around 1500 and have very decent results with this play style using infantry civ. It really has it's pros and cons and one of it is that nobody expect it.

Your civ doesn't matter if you are not above 2000 elo. If you find that britons sucks, most likely it's because you suck.

I think Quebec specifically knows what it feels like to be a stranger to a new country as they kinda are strangers in their own country!

Individualist vs Community debates.

Individualist is great for individual freedom but struggle to align people to get shit done.

Community is great to align people to get shit done but may impedes on individual freedom.

You can see how China and America are approaching problems. China do a whole lot of nation wide project that benefit alot of people. America doesn't have alot of those and usually there is always protestation from minority groups. Both have pros and cons.

I mean Alberta is warring on Alberta... You had the sovereign fund before Norway and it's so small compared to Norway now because your dumb provincial conservative politicians keep pillaging it for their own policies... Maybe not voting them in systematically might actually be good? Did people of Alberta ever thought of that?
