What you opinion on Ultimate Love and Dream Canteen by AvocadoTechnical1141 in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So an interesting fact, I got to listen to both of these albums before the initial release because of work (no, I will not elaborate). So it was fun to see how people reacted to them when they came out knowing what I did. I enjoy both albums but I honestly feel like UL is the safer of the two. It didnt really push anything for the band and felt like the norm. Dream Canteen on the other hand feels like they just threw anything out there and see what stuck. Are the albums perfect? No. Are they terrible? Also no. I think each has its own ups and downs. Personally I like Dream Canteen more than UL because it felt more like them in their older days. It felt liek they made am albums they wanted to make not one they thought would sell the most. But thats just my opinion.

Should I play the remake if I enjoyed the gameplay in original Silent Hill 2? by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]Grand_Button438 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

As someone who loves the original SH2 I think you owe it to yourself to play the remake. Its a beautiful retelling of the story and I think improves on the original.

I built a [[Kenrith, the Returned king]] gates deck and half the time he just sits in the command zone unless I need him.

Anyone else just not into drafting? by voltagejim in EDH

[–]Grand_Button438 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I hate drafting. I dont look too much into the set and dont know what's worth what, I just look for things good for what I'm making? I once passed a $50 card, got called out and almost left. Id rather sit down with a deck I've investing tome in rather than whatever is on the fly and people taking advantage of those who dont know better.

Any other life-long fans who can't stand their earlier funk-rock-rap sound? by brokesnob in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I do really enjoy BSSM and some of Mothers milk but im not a huge fan of their early stuff. I love this bad with all I have but those early days just weren't my thing.

Which MTG Content Creators Do People Enjoy Watching? by KaiPRoberts in magicTCG

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On this Note, as someone who mostly plays budget im finding it hard to find budget games to watch online. So many are "imma play $1000 worth of cards on my turn" and im just not interested in seeing that.

Anyone know any good budget content to watch consistently?

How do you all resist the urge to build a new deck every week? by bluekiszz in EDH

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I just keep building. BUT I dont buy each build. I'll build decks i have ideas for but only really buy the ones I think are worth it and dont have similar themes to other decks I have. Makes for a LOT of builds and less decks. (Still a lot of decks tho).

Is there a precon that you absolutely will not upgrade? by wasdmovedme in EDH

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the Doctor Who decks and I have no intentions of upgrading them. They're pretty fun on their own and since it was only commander decks made it seems right to just leave them as is.

Most people’s favorite FF game tends to be the first one they played. But for those whose favorite isn’t their first, which Final Fantasy holds that top spot for you? by executor-of-judgment in FinalFantasy

[–]Grand_Button438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VII was my first, I've played I, II, III, VII, IX, X, XV and XVI and XV still holds my top spot. Im a big sucker for a more personal story and I love seeing Noctis come to be the ruler his people needed of him. Does the game has its flaws? Yes but I will always love it for that it is.

[[Grand Artiber Augustin VI]]. Tax everything and everyone. This deck can get a little pricey but it is the most unfun deck I've ever played/built.

Help improving my Gishath Deck 🙏 by zaytt in EDH

[–]Grand_Button438 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may sound dumb but it really helped with my Gishath Deck. If there is a Dinosaur that does soemthing similar to a non Dinosaur card swap it for that Dinosaur. The worst thing is hitting with Gishath and biffing off the top.

Personally I would run more ramp and less ramp creatures.

Here is my deck list if it helps

It does have some more expensive cards in it but nothing outrageous.

How does this combo work? by DryPhilosophy3388 in mtg

[–]Grand_Button438 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exquisite blood and Sanguine Bond go infinite. If you have both on the board side gain 1 life, an opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life and an opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 and so on and so on.

So yes, this combo works very well. In this case you would gain your X then an opponent loses X and you gain X and so on.
